John O’Connell is a third generation pharmacist from Kilkenny City. John’s grandfather (and namesake) opened the premises, in which he now works, in Rose Inn Street in 1945. His father Michael set up shop in Haven Pharmacy O’Connell’s High Street just over 20 years later. John continues to serve and care for the people of Kilkenny since he began working in his grandfather’s Rose Inn Street shop in 1995.
