How to access the Common Conditions Service

If you or a family member are experiencing symptoms associated with the eight common conditions, you can access the Common Conditions Service by

  1. Fill out the required information as set out in our website (this will speed up your consultation process and also highlight symptoms that require GP consultation or emergency referral) and then walk-in and continue your consultation with our pharmacist
  2. Walk-in and ask to speak to a pharmacist

During your visit the pharmacist will carry out a private consultation, assess your symptoms in line with HSE clinical protocols and where appropriate, prescribe the recommended prescription-only medicines. Your prescription can then dispensed by us or sent to another pharmacy for your convenience

If your symptoms don’t meet the criteria the pharmacist may need to refer you to another healthcare professional
